Late Labanya Hazarika

Late Labanya Hazarika, mother of Dr. Surjya Kanta Hazarika, was from a cultured family in Ratanpur, Majuli. She was instrumental in shaping the cultured and refined tastes of her children. Like her husband she was also deeply influenced by spiritualism and teachings of Srimanta Shankardev.
